ABLE Accounts
Since 2016, people with disabilities became ABLE to save for their future, and now ABLE CT is live!
We meet with families individually to discuss how to incorporate an ABLE account into the puzzle that Special Needs Planning is.
We also offer the following workshop:
ABLE Accounts: How Someone with a Disability Can Save for their Future
Historically an individual with a disability was limited to how much they could save for their future. In Ct if you have more than $1600, essential government benefits such as Medicaid and SSI could be eliminated. Now with ABLE accounts individuals can save up to $18,000/year in tax advantaged savings accounts. Learn the ins and outs and the pros and cons to this exciting new planning tool for individuals and families with special needs.
